It's a deal.

★厳密に言うと"more than one hour"は「1時間より長い」という意味ですので「1時間以上」("one hour or more")とは違います。一般的な会話の場合、日本語の「1時間以上」と言いたい時は英語で"more than one hour"を使うことが多いです。
子供との約束を間違える

　お母さん！　どうして起こしてくれなかったの？
Mom!　Why didn't you wake me up?

　あら、今日だったの？　明日、早く起こしてほしいのかと思ってた。
Oh, it was today?　I thought you wanted me to wake you up early tomorrow.

約束を破る

　トミー、今日一日、いい子でいるって約束したよね。でも、約束を破ったね！　ママに内緒でお外、行ったでしょ！
Tommy, you promised to be a good boy today.　But you broke [didn't keep] this promise!　You went outside without telling me!

　探したけど、見つからなかったんだよ！
I looked for you, but I couldn't find you!

　言い訳はやめなさい！　今週はお外に出たらいけません！
No more excuses!　You will be grounded for the rest of the week!
約束を破る

　約束覚えてる？　今日1日いい子でいられたら、今週末モールで何か買ってあげるって。でも、あなた、約束破ったのよ！
Remember the deal?　If you behave today, I'll get you something at the mall this weekend.　But you blew it!

　ごめんなさい。ママ。もうしません。
Sorry, mommy.　I won't do that again.

　分かった。でも今週末は何も買ってあげないわよ。
OK.　But you are not getting anything this weekend.
　トミー、お母さんをがっかりさせないでよ。約束したことは、ちゃんとやってよ。
